Title : Precepts Lead to Heaven.

Story : A Thai old man dressed in a white Dhamma dress with a local cloth tie at the waist, came to practice Dhamma at the temple with great faith, keep the 8 precepts, and offer food to monks. Which all the good deeds that he had done all his life will be merits that send him to have great happiness in heaven. And it is also a factor that will affect this old man to be able to enter Nirvana in certain future life. An old man is sitting and listening to the Dharma taught from the abbot with faith and joy, beside a large floor-standing mirror on the temple pavilion. His reflection in the mirror shows his next life as a deva with a majestic body that is full of divine treasures. He will have his journey all over the blissful heaven for a long long time and also practice Dharma there until he may attain the path of being a noble one, then ascending to the heavenly Sutthavas, before entering Nibbana. It is something that this old man will be after he has died from this human life.
Our Lord Buddha has discovered by himself about the truth of the universe that 5 precepts are the minimum factor that leads all beings in the universe to go to heaven or to hell. If people keep at least 5 precepts, so life in heaven can be expectable. It depends on the last subconsciousness before dying too, which are a good mind or sinful mind. He also has found that each one has been incarnated into human beings, animals, hell beasts, monsters, devas, etc, infinitely. If only we could know how much blood and tears we had lost in all our reincarnations.
The Lord Buddha said The blood and tears we have to lose are more than all the ocean waters put together. He, therefore, made great efforts to make all of us human beings aware of the great danger and cruelty of the universe in which we live. He also wanted us to aware that the life of all animals, including humans, is full of misery, unhappiness. Happiness is temporary and deceives the animals into becoming attached and wanting to be reborn.
Our Lord Buddha has laid down a rule for those who vowed to become Buddhists that they must keep at least the 5 precepts, along with giving, and most importantly is the practice of Vipassana Meditation, which in addition to causing human beings to escape from hell. They can go to heaven. It is also a factor that can lead humans to attain the path and enter Nibbana eventually.

คุณตาที่อายุมากแล้ว นุ่งชุดขาวห่มขาวผูกขาวม้าที่เอว เดินทางมาทำบุญใส่บาตรที่วัด รักษาศีล และปฏิบัติธรรมด้วยแรงศรัทธาอันยิ่งยวด ซึ่งความดีทั้งหลายที่คุณตาได้เคยทำมาตลอดชีวิตนั้น จะเป็นบุญกุศลที่ส่งคุณตาให้ไปพบกับความสุขในเทวโลก และยังเป็นปัจจัยที่จะส่งผลให้คุณตาสามารถเข้าสู่พระนิพพานได้ในชาติใดชาติหนึ่งข้างหน้า
คุณตากำลังนั่งฟังธรรมจากเจ้าอาวาสด้วยความศรัทธาและความสุขใจ ข้างๆ กระจกเงาตั้งพื้นบานใหญ่บนศาลาวัด ภาพสะท้อนของคุณตาในกระจกแสดงให้เห็นถึงชาติภพของคุณตาในฐานะเทวดาที่มีร่างกายอันงามสง่ายิ่งเปี่ยมไปด้วยทิพยสมบัติ เปี่ยมไปด้วยทิพยสมบัติ ได้ท่องเที่ยวไปในเทวโลกและปฏิบัติธรรมบนนั้นอย่างยาวนานแสนนานจนบรรลุมรรคผลถึงซึ่งความเป็นพระอริยเจ้าสู่สวรรค์ชั้นสุทธาวาส เป็นสิ่งที่คุณตาจะได้ไปบังเกิดหลังจากที่คุณตาได้เสียชีวิตจากความเป็นมนุษย์ไปแล้วในชาติปัจจุบันนี้
พระพุทธเจ้าของเราได้ค้นพบความจริง ความลับของจักรวาลด้วยพระองค์เองว่า "ศีล ๕" เป็นปัจจัยขั้นต่ำที่ชักนำเหล่าสรรพสัตว์ในจักรวาลให้ไปบังเกิดในสวรรค์หรือนรก ถ้าหากมนุษย์รักษาศีล 5 เป็นอย่างน้อย ชีวิตบนสวรรค์ก็จะเป็นอันสมหวังได้ ซึ่งขึ้นอยู่กับจิตใต้สำนึกสุดท้ายก่อนตายด้วย ว่าเป็น จิตกุศล หรือ จิตอกุศล พระองค์จึงทรงกำหนดกฎเกณฑ์สำหรับผู้ที่ปฏิญาณตนเป็นพุทธว่าต้องรักษาศีล 5 เป็นอย่างน้อยควบคู่ไปกับการให้ทาน และที่สำคัญคือการปฏิบัติวิปัสสนากรรมฐาน ซึ่งนอกจากจะทำให้มนุษย์หลุดพ้นจากนรกและอบายภูมิแล้ว พวกเขายังสามารถไปบังเกิดเป็นเทวดา พรหมบนสวรรค์ได้ หรืออย่างแย่ลงมาคือกลับมาเป็นมนุษย์
นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นปัจจัยที่สามารถทำให้บรรลุมรรคผลและเข้าสู่นิพพานได้ในที่สุดนชาตินี้หรือชาติใดชาติหนึ่งข้างหน้า
