Giving alms to monks with a right view or Sammādiṭṭhi which can achieve is extremely merit, is the constant awareness in the mind that we did not choose or offer any particular monk, whether that person is a noble monk or an ordinary monk, good monk or a monk who has been ordained for many years. To be firmly aware in the mind that we are giving alms directly to the Lord Buddha, the Dharma, and all noble Sanghas. Unless we clearly know with the right view that the person wearing the robe is not a monk or not a good monk.
การถวายทานแด่พระภิกษุอย่างมีสัมมาทิฏฐิที่ถูกต้องและเป็นประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งคือความตระหนักรู้ในจิตอยู่เนืองๆ ว่าเรามิได้เลือกหรือถวายเฉพาะพระภิกษุองค์ใดโดยเฉพาะ ไม่สนใจว่าจะเป็นพระอริยสงฆ์ หรือพระภิกษุธรรมดา เป็นพระที่ดี หรือเป็นพระที่บวชมากี่พรรษา แต่ให้ตระหนักไว้อย่างมั่นคงในจิตว่า เรากำลังใส่บาตรโดยตรงต่อองค์พระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า พระธรรม และพระอริยสงฆ์ทั้งปวง เป็นสำคัญ เว้นแต่ว่า เราได้รู้แน่ชัดอย่างมีสัมมาทิฏฐิแล้วว่า คนที่สวมจีวรนั้นนั้นไม่ใช่พระภิกษุ หรือเขาไม่ใช่พระภิกษุที่ดี
